Two years ago, I published a historical thriller blog, Money, Blood and Conscience, about an Ethiopian-American love affair during the Tigrayan People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) dictatorship. I later decided to add to the book a nonfiction “afterword,” an author’s note to the reader. It called for Ethiopia’s former TPLF rulers to be held accountable for crimes against humanity.
